Lauren Baumken is a Registered Social Worker with more than ten years experience working with adolescents and adults in both community and hospital outpatient settings.
Lauren has completed intensive training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). She is a former clinician of a comprehensive DBT program for adolescents and an outpatient mental health clinic for transitional-aged youth. Lauren has a passion for providing quality and adherent DBT and PE interventions in sessions with clients and also provides Cognitive Behavioural Therapy-informed services when appropriate.
She completed her Masters of Social Work at the University of Toronto. She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and is a Licensed Social Worker in the Northwest Territories. Lauren is also a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
Lauren has taken pride in extensive training and supervision in the services she provides and continues to work closely with colleagues to continue her passion for learning and developing in her career.
